Interpersonal ConnectionSince social media and the smart phone stick with everyone all the time, we can easily know what's going on with our friends through Facebook, Twitter, etc. The need to meet up and get connected in person no longer plays an important role in the new age. Even when a few friends get together for coffee or lunch, most of the time each person still keeps checking feeds on the social media instead of connecting through face to face interaction and discussion.
In the future, people may simply hide behind their monitors and only rely on technology to connect with others and with the world.

It is each person's responsibility to think before posting, to verify the reliability of the information source before sharing, and to consider others before making a comment. It is important to keep in mind that Ethical Principles are still valid with the new technology world. In addition, no matter how much technology can help on sharing information and updates, interpersonal relationship still requires interaction between people. Technology can be effective in information sharing, however, it can also cause us to lose the real connection among human beings.
